to guide them through creating a tailored EMS manual. This will be a short-term project, lasting 2-4 weeks, depending on how many hours worked each week (open to full-time or part-time hours). All the content is ready – it just needs to be assembled into an editable Adobe FrameMaker file. Must have expertise in FrameMaker and training skills to teach key team members how to use FrameMaker and how to update the EMS Manual as needed.
For a complete understanding of this opportunity, and what will be required to be a successful applicant, read on.Project ObjectivesSystematically assemble an EMS manual by incorporating EMS procedures using Adobe FrameMaker, with a PDF file and a FrameMaker editable file as the final product.Format the EMS manual to include the necessary supporting manual elements: Table of Contents, Definitions, References, etc. AS will supply some of these elements while others will need to be created.Provide training to AS Environmental Affairs on basic functions of Adobe FrameMaker to successfully update the EMS Manual once it is created.Scope of WorkManual Development:
Assemble an EMS manual utilizing AS-provided materials, including policy statement, procedures, and various other inclusions. Create and include other elements to ensure the EMS manual is formatted correctly. The AS EMS Manual will be a functional document. Therefore, embedding working hyperlinks into the manual is preferred. Provide revisions as needed until a final draft is accepted by AS Environmental Affairs.Training:
Provide virtual training to AS Environmental Affairs personnel. The training shall consist of a tutorial for basic manual/content updates, formatting, and file inputs in FrameMaker.Extensive experience with utilizing FrameMaker for document creation and formatting, specifically manuals or similar documents.Excellent communication and training skills.This role can be done completely remote (US only) and offers flexible hours (10-40 / week). The entire project will likely be 40-50 hours. Once this project is complete, they would love to consider this person for all future ad-hoc projects!The target hiring compensation range for this role is $40 to $50 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
