GPD is currently seeking a Visualization Designer/Illustrator for our Akron, OH office location to collaborate with our creative team of designers and architects on various conceptual design projects.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Illustration, Interior Design, Architecture, Graphic Design or related field.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling environments and scene building.
- Experience with rendering, lighting and animation software required; proficiency in coding and programming is a plus.
- Background in creating computer modeled interior and exterior built environments, including lighting and asset generation.
- Skillset should include both conceptual and photo-realistic rendering development and animation.
- Demonstrated experience creating complex shapes and texture mapping.
- Virtual and Augmented Reality programming and modeling is a plus.
- Ability to read architectural drawings and translate design direction and intent.
- Understanding of topography contours, landscaping and hardscapes modeling.
- Knowledge of Photo Compositing and Presentation Methods.
- Must be organized with good communication and follow-up skills.
- Working knowledge of Sketchup, AutoCAD and Revit.

- Working as part of our Design Studio to provide architectural, interiors, site, and other building industry related photorealistic renderings and illustrations or animations.
- Building, texturing, and lighting 3D scenes for rendered stills and animation.
- Using Photoshop for compositing renderings and color corrections.
- Creating presentation graphics for meetings and client review.
- Assisting in the creation of marketing materials and presentations.
- Programming within software programs to aid in animations and design options.
