Overview
As a Process Engineer in our Thin Film department, you will work to improve and enhance Thin Film processes, which include daily process sustaining, continuous process improvement and multi-tasking in a fast-paced semiconductor environment. Candidate must be able to work in clean room environment and be resilient to tackle challenges and resolve issues.
While this position is scheduled to work core business hours, Monday-Friday, there may be times when additional hours are necessary.
Responsibilities include:
Routine communication and coordination with TSMC Taiwan.Work closely with manufacturing, process/equipment engineers and technician to achieve fab moves requirement and maintain operation line.Daily process sustaining, including maintain in-line/off-line monitor performance to make sure stable process/ good quality on wafers processed and outlier tool issue resolved.Conduct continuous improvement for productivity/ operation improvement and cost savings.Troubleshoot in tool or process issue for problem root cause finding and propose solution.Have good project control to achieve/external customer's goals.Requirements:
All applicants must possess legal authorization to work for any employer in the United States, and the employer cannot provide sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.BS or higher in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Physics or Material Science.3 years and above relevant experience in semiconductor fab in Thin Film area preferred.Excellent oral and written communication and computer skills including MS Office & Windows.Understanding SPC/Quality concept and know Microsoft Excel Macro Programming.High AQ (Adversity Quotient) to accept challenges from work.Problem solving skills and troubleshooting knowledge.Detail oriented and self-motivated individual with good ownership.Open minded team player and willing to take challenges.Data and goal driven mindset.Ability to create and analyze DOE for Thin Film process.Statistical Analysis, Research and Development techniques experience are desire.Familiar with Poseidon Fab operation system, IEDA, EMS, RMS and JMP.Familiar with CVD/PVD process and tool platform including AMAT Centura/HDP/RTA/Endura/CVD_TIN/WCVD and NVLS-Altus/Sequal.Benefits:

At the time of this posting, this role typically pays a base salary between $80,100 and $97,900 per year. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires.
