Job Description
- Enhances brand visibility and customer trust through concept and graphic design of all marketing campaigns (events and projects) using Canva and Adobe Professional.
- Including graphic design seasonal promotions such as Halloween and National Thrift Shop Day, organizational and program area newsletters, annual reports, and brochures, retail graphics (internal and external signs, awnings, window clings, vinyl graphics, posters etc).
- Develops motion graphics, including social media GIFs and videos, to enhance engagement and outreach efforts.
- Builds templates and guides and communicates with internal business partners to ensure consistent alignment of visuals and messaging with Goodwill's branding across various platforms including digital, print, and multimedia graphics.
- Designs and updates presentations and templates for strategic communication used by executives/CEO.
- Directs and oversees materials produced by marketing partners and vendors to ensure accuracy and alignment with branding guidelines.
- Oversees email campaigns – manages content calendar, develops concepts, copy and images, reports on performance and initiates tactics to increase efficiency and performance of campaigns.
- Oversees all social media accounts, and responsible for all posting and the majority of content creation, strategies and scheduling.
- Manages and curates Goodwill’s in-store radio programming, including the writing and recording of in-store radio commercials and Mood Media management.
- Serves as primary point of contact with radio stations in support of advertising campaigns. Reviews radio advertising contracts, drafts and reviews copy and recordings.
- Designs webpages and updates website content, including photography.
- Works closely with VP, Brand & Community Engagement to post and distribute information about weather-related closures and other adverse events that impact Goodwill operations.
- Prepares and submits the marketing budget, allocating resources for promotional social media marketing within the retail budget.
- Collaborates with the PR team to disseminate press releases across social media and the website.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Demonstrated proficiency using various marketing platforms, including social (Buffer or similar), digital, and Constant Contact or similar email marketing software.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Canva design tool, Abode Suite, Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Excellent visual and written communication skills, including editing skills.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, including the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to promote a positive brand image.
- Ability to build relationships with a diverse constituent population of internal business partners and vendors.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Graphic design samples are required as part of the recruitment process.
