Overview
The Graphic Designer and Social Media Specialist will apply art, design, and copy layout skills to create visually engaging concepts such as logos, promotional and branding materials, communication media, and other print and digital materials. This role leads and manages the health system's brand and reputation. As a member of the Bozeman Health Marketing and Communications team, this position plays an important part in communicating with consumers, the community, and patients.
Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or related field.Minimum of 3 years of professional graphic design experience.Minimum of 3 years of healthcare marketing and communications experience or related communications area.Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, with a stellar portfolio showcasing your creativity and versatility.Essential Job Functions:Design all needed print, digital, and social ads with a fresh, modern view, suggesting new design ideas and creating associated campaigns for strategies.Manage the Bozeman Health brands, ensuring all printed and digital materials follow brand and design standards.Design and implement health system social media strategy, content calendar, and associated KPIs; manage and develop social media marketing campaigns and day-to-day activities.Design and craft community-focused e-newsletters and event e-vites.Work closely with the system manager of internal communications on internal marketing needs and signage for the health system.Suggest and implement new programs to develop brand awareness and engagement, such as promotions, competitions, and original content. Conduct ongoing brand and graphic design audits to evaluate adherence to Bozeman Health brand and design standards and take appropriate actions based on the audit results.Collaborate with digital content producers on photo shoots and commercials.Coordinate with and provide support to other members of the marketing and communications team as needed to achieve the overall goals of the department and health system.Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities:Demonstrates sound judgement, patience, and maintains a professional demeanor at all times.Ability to work in a busy and stressful environment.Knowledge of AP style and other writing styles.Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.Creativity, problem analysis, and decision making.Ability to work varied shifts.Computer applications, MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite, internet applications, and standard office equipment.Ability to analyze, organize, and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines.Self-directed, completes assignments accurately, thoroughly, and with minimal oversight.
