Description
Join Centex Technologies as a Graphic Designer supporting the Army Applications Laboratory (AAL).
In this exciting role, you'll contribute to AAL's mission of accelerating the discovery, evaluation, and transition of dual-use technology and business practices for the U.S. Army.
Your creative skills will be instrumental in translating AAL's mission into a realistic, executable, and documented digital strategy. You'll work on internal and external communications, content creation, and web development, playing a crucial role in AAL's efforts to reshape how the Army delivers capabilities in support of Multi-Domain Operations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Create visually appealing designs using computer software or by hand
- Develop graphics for product illustrations, logos, and websites
- Collaborate with clients and team members to understand project requirements
- Present design concepts and incorporate feedback
- Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and design software
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES (KSA)
- Advanced graphic design experience
- Strong in Adobe Illustrator
- Strong in Adobe InDesign
- Strong in Adobe Photoshop
- Experience in developing presentations on PowerPoint and Google Slides
- Proficiency in image editing
- Attention to detail and creativity
- Strong branding experience
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field
- 2-4 years of experience in graphic design
- Experience with both digital and print design
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This position requires the ability to sit for extended periods, operate a computer, and perform other light office tasks. The ability to lift up to 10 pounds occasionally may be required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Primarily an office environment with interaction with colleagues and occasional interaction with external stakeholders.
