Reporting to the Sr. Marketing Communications Manager Team lead, this role is responsible for supporting and guiding the positioning, messaging and channel strategies as well as all marketing communications assets and integrated communications plans for assigned areas of the Global Marketing franchises and corresponding products.Hands-on global position responsible for managing all project requests through the Global MarCom process and acts as a strategic partner to Global Marketing. This includes supporting with value propositions, positioning and messaging, collateral creation, approval, channel strategies, dissemination and tradeshows. Works globally, collaborating closely with partners across Smith+Nephew to ensure understanding of key market and customer factors and aligns communications approach and asset toolbox accordingly. Assets can include digital and print brochures, technique guides or surgical techniques, advertising, video, animations, digital assets and social media, among others. Collateral creation includes copywriting of headlines and body copy as well as storyboards.In this role, you will:
Act as brand manager, ensuring S+N appropriate branding approachAlign project priorities in line with business and franchise focus, needs and deadlinesActs as the liaison between the creative department, related departments and the client with regards to providing production schedules, critical milestones and general updatesContinuously collaborate with the MRM system to ensure projects follow the proper workflow and approval processesEnsure accuracy and maintenance of literature inventory including online literature ordering systemEnsure that all projects are delivered on time and on budgetParticipate/guide Strategy, Positioning and Messaging planning and execution with marketing teamsBuild global reach of the produced promotional assetsFacilitate briefings, reviews with internal staff and partnersKeep creative and production staff apprised of project priorities and due datesExpedite “rush” projects while maintaining orderly flow of daily workEnsure full approval of all collateralSupport distribution of collateral to relevant sources (integrated approach)Recommend and implement process improvementsKeeps others informed of conflicts and delaysObtain deadline extensions when necessaryEnsure timely release of all artwork with appropriate documentation to outside sourcesWhat will you need to be successful?
Education: Bachelor´s degree in business, marketing, communication, PR, or closely related fieldExperience: 5+ years in marketing communications, communications, PR, marketing or closely related fieldExperience in a global organization or global exposure/experience preferredMedical device marcom and agency background a plusTravel Requirements: 10%You.
