Required Skill/ability 1: Demonstrated experience in development and execution of strategic and analytic marketing and communications plans, including branding, public relations, government relations and social media.
Required Skill/ability 2: Record of superior writing and editing skills for marketing and philanthropic purposes, as well as a demonstrated ability to write in a style and voice suitable for a variety of audiences, including donors, legislators, faculty, current and prospective students, and the general community.
Required Skill/ability 3: Strong organizational skills, ability to set priorities, data-driven, and high degree of attention to detail; ability to manage multiple competing priorities concurrently.
Required Skill/ability 4: Strong management skills, ability to lead teams and manage change.
Preferred Education: Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related field and ten years of experience.Proven experience overseeing communications in a large, decentralized University, particularly in the field of nursing and/or health sciences.Website design and development experience.
Work Week: Standard (M-F equal number of hours per day)
