With the new Remi Hoteland Maya Nightclub poised for a breathtaking transformation, your creativitywill be the beacon that guides our journey toward unparalleled success.We are committed to providing you with:Excellent compensation package.Operational incentive plan eligibility.An exceptional benefit plan for eligible associates and your family members.401K matching program for eligible associates.Discounts at our Crescent managed properties in North America for you and yourfamily members.Here is what you will be doing each day:Direct the solicitation efforts of the sales staff through effective oral andwritten communication while overseeing rate, date and space commitments forgroup room sales within the hotel.Interview, hire, train, conduct performance evaluations, resolveproblems, provide open communication and disciplinary actions and/ortermination of the sales staff when appropriate.Ensure training programs are conducted regularly and Crescent standards ofperformance are met. Give guidance and counsel staff toward improvement.Provide day to day leadership to sales associates to achieve property salesobjectives with overall responsibility for achieving booking goals andproperty revenues.Compile and/or direct the preparation of reports pertaining to the operationof the Sales Department to include, but not limited to the annual andmonthly Forecast, Marketing Budget, Lead Management System, BookingReports, STAR reports and Sales Meeting minutes.Coordinate ongoing research of the travel industry to identify market trendsand related information for development of innovative marketing strategies.Make reasonable recommendations to improve revenue potential from variousmarkets and demand segments.Develop and conduct persuasive verbal sales presentations to prospectiveclients. Internally promote Crescent programs.Meet with and entertain clients, some of which will require travel.Communicate both verbally and in writing to provide clear directions to thestaff.Strategic preparation of computerized annual Sales & Marketing Plan andexecute plans as outlined, critically examining and adjusting as deemednecessary by changing market conditions.Source, cultivate and manage Business Transient accounts (corporate andlocal negotiated), ensuring strong relationships with key clients andsolid production from each account.Manage the sales RFP process.Ensure the property is positioned as a market leader within the competitiveset.Successful completion of all Marriott required Sales and Marketing openingtasks, by the predetermined deadlines.Implement service stra egy and applicable brand initiatives in all aspects ofthe sales process and focus on building long-term, value-based customerrelationships that enable achievement of the hotel's' sales objectives.Manage the marketing budget to enable development of property specificcampaigns, promotions and collateral to drive revenue and meet propertyobjectives.
