Interpret and communicate client’s vision, goals, and objectivesCreate and develop design concepts, layouts, and detailed plans throughout all phases of designProduce floorplans, 3D renderings, mood boards, and other visual tools to support presentations and promote client approvalLead design presentations, engender client decisions and finalize contractsSource and manage final selection of materials, finishes, and fixturesProduce detailed construction documents, drawings, specifications, and schedulesConduct field measurements and surveys; document project’s existing conditionsConduct site visits to review progress and ensure the design intent is being executedCoordinate with team members, consultants, and officials to achieve project goalsMaintain clear and responsive communication with clients throughout the projectSupport and mentor other members of the design teamEnsure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and receive outstanding feedback from clientsEducation, Experience, and Skills RequiredBachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture preferred5+ years of experience in single-family home residential design and remodelingTech savvy including experience with Microsoft products such as Teams, Office softwareProficiency in Drafting and 3D Rendering Software: Chief Architect a plusAbility to read and develop construction plan setsStrong knowledge of architectural styles, space planning principles, building/finish materials, and building codes/regulationsExcellent communication, problem-solving, customer service, and sales skillsAbility to create accurate technical drawings/specifications and effectively communicate and sell design concepts to clientsPersonal characteristics including attention to detail, resourcefulness, collaborative and efficient workstyle, plus a great eye, vision, and passion for designCompensation$80,000-$100,000 salary (depending on experience)Bonus opportunitiesSimple IRA with employer matchHealth, dental, and vision insurancePTOHow to ApplyPlease submit updated resume, portfolio, and cover letter addressing why you are a great fit for this role.We have a formal recruiting process and have a relationship with Zephyr Connects LLC, whom we use for the screening and hiring process.
