Exempt, HourlyCompensation:2023/2024 Academic YearMaster's degree (or higher) rate = $619 per contact hourAssociate's and Bachelor’s degree rate = $567 per contact hourContact hours vary depending on course offeringGeneral Information:Teaching assignment may include a full range of undergraduate courses within the Engineering programTeaching responsibilities include teaching, maintaining scheduled office hours, and advising studentsParticipation in developing and improving academic coursesMorning, afternoon, evening and online offerings may be availableJOB SUMMARY:
To design and deliver instruction to students.RESPONSIBILITIES:Prepare and deliver academic instruction, including developing syllabi, developing content and administering assessmentsMaintain and submit necessary class records, including early alert and final grade reports and attendance verification for financial aid complianceParticipate in student grade appeal proceduresObserve college calendarPost and maintain conference hoursParticipate in assessment of student learning and assessment reporting according to assessment planREQUIREMENTS:Minimum of an Associate in Applied Science in an Engineering field with five (5) years non-teaching related work experience or a Bachelor’s degree in the discipline with 4,000 non-teaching related work experience. Masters degree preferredTeaching experience at the higher education level preferredAll academic degrees must be from a regionally accredited college or university
