JIA Admissions & Communications Coordinator/Registrar
JIA is searching for an individual to join an innovative and growing team of professionals, leading in the capacity ofadmissions and communication for our local programs. JIA is an online and hybrid school serving students gradesK-12 within Jenison Public Schools.
Schedule : Year-round, 12-month schedule, full-time
Annual Compensation : Dependent upon background and experience, the starting salary range is $65,000-$70,000,including a benefits package, generous vacation time, and occasional remote work opportunities.
Required Qualifications• Minimum - bachelor's degree in education, business, or a related field• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills• Ability to effectively communicate with diverse groups and maintain strict confidentiality• Experience with online education• High level of critical thinking and problem-solving ability• A team player who is customer service and detail-oriented
Preferred Qualifications• Master's degree in education, business, or a related field• Admissions and stakeholder communication experience within K-12 education• Experience curating digital content and other promotional materials• Strong technical skills within multiple systems, including Google Workspace, Student InformationSystems, and Learning Management Systems
Duties & Responsibilities• Oversee the JIA admissions/registration process for grades K-12• Promote JIA through social media, informational webinars, in-person events, published articles, andadditional methods.• Manage and facilitate family enrollment meetings & school tours (virtually and in-person)• Collaborate with JIA leadership regarding organizational communication• Data entry, collection, and maintenance of student records• Facilitate the collection of state reporting and pupil accounting documentation/requirements• Communicate and coordinate with other schools and departments across the JPS district and regionally• Support other team members as needed and contribute to a positive work environment• Other duties as assigned
