Role Overview
We are looking for a part-time Social Media Manager & Content Creator to join our team in Bellingham. This role is ideal for a creative professional with a strong understanding of social media trends, content creation, and digital marketing strategy. You will be responsible for developing, managing, and executing social media strategies across various platforms to enhance brand awareness and engagement for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Social Media Strategy & Management: Develop and execute social media strategies tailored to each client's business goals, ensuring consistent branding and messaging.
- Content Creation: Plan, create, and edit engaging multimedia content, including short-form videos, photography, and graphics for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Content Scheduling & Posting: Manage content calendars, schedule posts, and ensure timely delivery of campaigns.
- Community Engagement: Actively engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and build online communities.
- Analytics & Optimization: Track and analyze performance metrics, generate insights and adjust strategies to improve engagement and ROI.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Joyco Digital’s team of strategists, designers, and marketers to align content with broader marketing initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in social media marketing and content creation.
- Strong background in video production, photography, and editing (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, CapCut, Canva, or similar).
- Excellent writing and storytelling skills with the ability to craft compelling social content.
- Proficiency in using social media management tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer).
- Knowledge of digital advertising (Meta Ads, Google Ads) is a plus.
- Experience with SEO-driven content strategies is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects at once.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience working in digital marketing agencies or consulting is a plus.
- A passion for emerging social media trends and innovative marketing strategies.
- Part-time, hourly position (15-25 hours per week) with potential for growth.
