Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Product Designer/Senior Product Designer in Plano, TX. Summary: We are seeking a talented Product Designer to support the design and development of our POS system and .com platform. This role will focus on core sprint work, prototyping, and improving the overall user experience for enterprise POS systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product design for complex systems, experience with B2B-focused solutions, and a solid understanding of designing for scalability and efficiency.

• POS System Design: Lead the design and user experience of our enterprise POS system, ensuring a smooth and intuitive user journey.
• Prototyping: Create high-fidelity prototypes using Figma to test concepts and gather feedback.
• Core Sprint Work: Participate actively in Agile sprints, collaborating with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver design solutions aligned with business goals.
• Cross-Platform Design: Design responsive interfaces for both web-based and mobile applications (native or PWA).
• Design Systems: Contribute to building a scalable design system; while not currently using Storybook, familiarity with design systems is preferred as we aim to implement Storybook by the end of the year.
• User-Centered Design: Conduct user research and usability testing to ensure designs meet customer needs and improve the overall product experience.
• Salesforce Integration: Support the transition to Salesforce for website design and backend development.
• Collaboration: Work closely with product teams to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable design solutions.
• Agile Process: Work within an Agile framework using Jira to manage design sprints and track deliverables.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in product design (B2B focus preferred).
• Experience in website design and mobile app design (native or PWA).
• Experience working in an Agile environment with tools like Jira.
• Strong understanding of design systems and a willingness to help transition to Storybook.
• Strong background in POS system design and enterprise-level solutions.
• Portfolio showcasing at least 3 use cases that reflect strategic thinking, product execution, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Figma for prototyping and design collaboration.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in retail or fintech is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or similar website design backends is a plus.
