LMI, a private, not-for-profit research institute, is seeking applicants for a position in the Northern VA area for a Strategic Communications Specialist. Provide strategic communication services to communicate Government initiatives and priorities across the office and the Government Design and deliver a variety of communications materials Create proactive and responsive solutions to business needs and seize opportunities for continuous improvement in individual, team, business unit, and organizational processes Coordinate with Program Office leadership to prioritize potential initiatives in the context of strategic drivers, identify and de-conflict cross-initiative schedules and resources as needed Develop customer-facing and partner-facing collateral and presentations as required Build powerful communications through sound strategy and excellent execution Oversee client brand strategy and ensure successful implementation Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in any field; high school, vocational school, or trade school diploma and five (5) years' work experience in a similar field may be substituted for degree requirement Minimum of two (2) years of experience in strategic communications with the ability to research and draft original content for a variety of communication channels and methods.
