The Brickworks/Glen-Gery Brick Specialist is responsible for influencing and organizing the growth of Glen-Gery Building products by coordinating with customers, salespeople, and distributors. This person will be responsible for customer service, data entry, coordination of product and various other administrative tasks.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain showroom displays and keep product literature up to dateResponsible for the inventory, ordering, cataloging of productsCoordinate with plants across Brickworks both domestically and internationally.Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders;Drive promotion of the Design Studio via collaboration with the Glen Gery Sales team.Assist in organizing product meetings with clients in the Design StudioAttend all events (where appropriate) to create and maintain relationships with existing and potential customersAssist customers who visit the Design Studio and provide them with product support and consultationsProvide first class customer service in all instancesProvide accurate information on products to customers including offering alternate products if requiredREQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
Good organizational and communication skillsProficient in AV and technologyAdvanced computer skillsExceptional customer service skillsDetail oriented and accurateSelf-motivatedAbility to create sample boardsAbility to work under pressure and multi-taskExperience with color consultancy preferredAbility to establish and maintain strong working relationshipsQUALIFICATIONS:
College degree in business/marketing, architectural, interior design, engineering or equivalent experienceKnowledge of building product materials, property, real-estate and construction industry preferredPrevious experience in the architectural and design community preferredTwo to four years previous experience in sales/customer service preferred but not essential.
