Overview
Define user flows, storyboards, wireframes and detailed visual specifications to describe the user experience and communicate with peers and stakeholders.Collaborate in brainstorming sessions and create conceptual sketches or wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and prototypes.Draft and maintain content including visual assets, interface language, product education materials, navigational nomenclature and other content throughout application experiences.Partner with PMs, designers, engineers, QA, researchers and strategists to oversee the user experience of a product from conception until launch (and then some).Use business requirements, market research and customer feedback to assist in developing scenarios, use cases, and high-level requirements for mobile experiences.Present design ideas and assets as needed to peers and project stakeholders and incorporate feedback into the design. Take initiative and speak up if you have ideas or see processes or designs that could be improved. Advocate for new and emerging technologies and platforms by maintaining strong interest in new mobile technologies and platforms.Advance innovative design by developing intuitive user flow diagrams, wireframes and visual interfaces and iterate based on metrics and user insights.Qualifications
7-10 years of experience in web and/or mobile design and production.BA/BS in related discipline or equivalent work experience.Proficiency with product design and collaboration tools such as Figma, Sketch, XD, Jira, Miro, Lucidchart, Adobe Creative Cloud or similar software, especially using symbols, styles, and library files.Must have excellent communication skills and be able to illustrate designs and user experience visually and in writing.Knowledgeable in user-centered design, interaction design, typography, color theory and layout.Familiar with mobile & web design best practices.Attention to detail.The drive to keep up-to-date on best practices, key software, and industry trendsComfortable navigating through ambiguity and able to distill solid designs from high-level requirements.Willingness to accept constructive criticism and iterate on designs as part of a team. Enjoys learning from others as well as teaching others what you've learned.Must be comfortable working an agile environment and understand technical and business constraints that impact current and future products.
