Job Summary
The Product Marketing Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful marketing and promotion of our technical product assets within the life science sector. This individual will be responsible for crafting compelling marketing materials, managing product information across digital platforms, nurturing relationships with third-party suppliers and partners, and providing technical support to both internal teams and external stakeholders.
Key Duties
Develop and maintain technical product assets, including but not limited to:Certificate of Analysis (COA)Product brochuresTechnical specifications sheetsInstruction manualsProvide technical support to internal teams and external customers, addressing inquiries related to product features, specifications, and usageEnsure accurate and up-to-date product information and listings on the company website and other digital platforms.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, R&D, Sales, and Operations, to gather product information and insights for marketing collateral.Manage relationships with third-party suppliers and partners, negotiating contracts, and overseeing the development of marketing materials and assets.Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, trade shows, and events to promote product awareness and generate leads.Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product improvement and differentiation.Must be able to stand for multiple hours.Must be able to sit for multiple hours.Ability to travel when needed.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Life Science related field or equivalent experience. Advanced degree preferred.Practical laboratory experience, preferably in immunological assays.Proven experience (3+ years) in the life science field preferably in product marketing or marketing communications within a B2B environment.Strong understanding of technical product assets and their role in the B2B purchasing process.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and engaging content.Proficiency in project management and multitasking, with a keen attention to detail and deadlines.Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.Experience with digital marketing tools and platforms, including CMS, CRM, and marketing automation software.Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and metrics to drive informed marketing decisions.Experience in project management.Travel Required: 15%
