Role Description
We’re seeking a highly motivated and experienced Live Event Producer to help bring culturally resonant, high-energy experiences to life. This role is ideal for a collaborative, resourceful, and detail-oriented individual with 5+ years of live event production experience and a strong background working with Nike and/or Jordan Brand.
You’ll be a key player on a dynamic team, managing large budgets, collaborating with cross-functional partners, and serving as a primary point of contact for clients. You should thrive in fast-paced environments, bring a proactive attitude, and be deeply passionate about sports, fashion, music, and the culture that connects them.
Key Responsibilities
Support the planning and execution of live events from concept through completion. Serve as a day-to-day client contact and ensure strong communication and collaboration. Manage budgets of $750K+ with accuracy, accountability, and transparency. Oversee and direct support staff including coordinators, freelancers, and vendors. Work collaboratively with internal team members including executive producers, creatives, and production teams. Troubleshoot and solve challenges creatively and efficiently. Keep multiple projects organized and moving on time and on budget. Travel as needed for site visits, pre-production meetings, and on-site event execution. Help ensure creative output aligns with client expectations and brand standards.
Required Qualifications
5+ years in live event production with experience executing high-quality, large-scale projects. Proven experience producing events for Nike and/or Jordan Brand. Comfortable working as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment. Client-facing experience with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Experience managing teams and working with diverse vendors and crew. Self-starter and self-motivator—can take initiative and drive progress without micromanagement. Creative problem solver who can adapt quickly and think on their feet. Willingness to travel as needed for events and meetings. Proficiency in Canva, Excel, Box, and Google Drive. A strong passion for sports, culture, fashion, music, and the intersections between them. Major plus if you’re a former athlete (college or pro)—you understand the mindset, discipline, and drive. Willing to share case studies or portfolios demonstrating past production experience.
Contract Details
3-month retainer with potential for extension. Competitive compensation, commensurate with experience.
