About the Role:
As our Media Researcher, you'll play a critical role in sourcing and curating compelling media content-primarily video-that exposes hypocrisy, highlights extreme views within political discourse, and aligns with our advocacy goals. Your ability to thoroughly and meticulously research and uncover compelling content will directly support our rapid-response capabilities and influence public debate.
Your Responsibilities:
- Identify timely and newsworthy video content for advocacy campaigns.
- Monitor political news, social media, and events for rapid response opportunities.
- Prepare and distribute media clips across social media platforms.
- Ensure accurate sourcing and attribution.
- Collaborate with our creative and communications teams to align content with project goals.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience sourcing or creating original content for social media, with strong familiarity in handling video.
- Strong understanding of today's political landscape, including ways the Republican Party has moved away from traditional conservative values during the Trump era.
- Ability to track multiple news streams, content sources, and rapid-response opportunities simultaneously.
- Collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for teamwork.
- You're able to be in the office (downtown DC) five days a week.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Previous experience in political research, journalism, or media monitoring roles

Base salary range: $55k-$70k
