The
Manager, Internal Communications
will be responsible for the end-to-to-end development and execution of communications plans that leverage leadership voices across internal communications channels and will report to the Senior Director of Corporate Communications.
This role is also known as a
communications business partner
and is responsible for supporting the preparation and management of all aspects of internal communications and thought leadership opportunities for a group of leaders. Support for these leaders will be designed in a way that is strategic, proactive, inspirational and supports our business strategy and goals.
This internal communications partner will work closely with the Senior Director of Corporate Communications and other stakeholders to support the company's internal engagement platform across various functions as needed. Development of materials to support change management goals is essential while also preparing communications for large meetings such as CEO town halls. Designing and maintaining a steady presence across all internal channels to effectively reach employees will be a must.
The focus of the manager's time will be spent on initiatives being driven by our senior leaders to inspire, inform and engage colleagues and teammates. The manager will thoughtfully curate and deliver internal content that delivers a best-in-class employee experience that helps attract and retain top talent for Caliber through messaging that supports the company core values and objectives.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities
Independently develop and implement internal and executive communications strategies for leaders that align to the employee communications framework and strategy.
Proactively plan, write and deliver clear and inspirational content that is related to key engagement initiatives. Deliver executive messages and support executive engagement activities that strengthen the value proposition for employees and align with the enterprise business strategy.
Possess the depth of experience and gravitas needed to provide advice and counsel to leaders on opportunities for internal engagement, ensuring they are amplifying messages that align to both corporate strategy and the enterprise communications strategy.
Ensure consistent and timely information to employees through various communications platforms and channels, including emails, town halls, the intranet, and internal social media outlets.
Ensure that leaders remain tuned in and responsive to employee experience and engagement as measured through analytics, anecdotally, and through continuous listening strategies.
Set measurable goals for execution of internal and executive communications strategies and ensure progress is tracked and reported.
Work in lockstep with the Senior Director of Corporate Communications and collaboratively across the entire corporate communications function to deliver holistic internal communications programs.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
5-8 years corporate communications experience with a focus in employee engagement, corporate and executive communications.
Proven experience confidently interacting with and counseling corporate executives and key internal partners with best in-class employee communication practices, and ensuring messaging is consistent across the organization.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, including success managing major projects and enterprise-wide initiatives.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively. May involve managing people
Strong writing, editing and communications skills across multiple media, including speeches, email, video scripts, editorial and social content.
Creative thinker and passionate about building culture.
Organized with attention to detail.
Must possess a learning orientation and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Proactive with ability to be in the "higher helicopter" and anticipate needs of executives.

Required/Preferred Education And Licenses
Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, Human Resources, Business Administration, or other related discipline or equivalent knowledge and experience.
