Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.4 years of experience in management consulting, product management and strategy, or analytics in a technology company.Experience working with and analyzing data.Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree or equivalent practical experience.5 years of marketing research experience, including working at a market research firm or in a consumer insights/market research role.Experience in the research process, including research design, project management, data analysis, and synthesis of insights into a narrative.Experience with synthesizing and connecting insights to marketing and go-to-market strategy.Experience in stakeholder communication, presence and relationship management.About the Job:
Product and Business Strategy Leaders bring together teams across Google’s functions to help products execute optimally. Our team partners with senior leadership to run important functions that deliver high impact projects.In this role, you will be part of the strategy, operations, insights and analytics team within the platforms and devices team. You will drive consumer insights around how pixel can leverage social media to get our message to our target consumers. You will run qualitative and quantitative research, working closely with the broader insights and analytics team, as well as the global social center of excellence.Responsibilities:
Become the global social insights expert, being seen and leveraged as the go-to-researcher for all things social within platforms and devices.Build research roadmap, working with the social center of excellence to understand needs and prioritize asks.Understand the role of social media and trusted voices in the broader phone customer journey.Determine how social media can best be leveraged to breakthrough in culture across sports, music, entertainment.Run testing of new social campaigns to factor in consumer feedback to go/no go decisions, as well as developing content.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $117,000-$172,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
