Company Description Sisters Empowering S.I.S.T.A.S., Inc., was founded in 2006 in Atlanta, GA, and is now based in Houston, TX. It is designed to empower teenage girls in grades 9-12. The program focuses on providing life skills, education, and guidance to prepare participants for successful and well-rounded lives. Through real-world experiences, we aim to shape their dreams, mold their minds, and positively influence their character. Role Description This role is for consideration for the Marketing & Social Media Director seat on our Board of Directors. The Marketing & Social Media Director will oversee and manage all communication and social media engagement, develop communication strategies, media relations, and public relations activities, develop all marketing collateral, manage our donor database, and engage with donors to drive continued engagement and organizational support. This role is located in Houston, TX. Qualifications Strong Communication Skills Media Relations and Public Relations skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities Ability to work collaboratively and independently Budget management experience Fundraising experience is a plus Experience with social media management is a plus Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field Please submit your Letter of Interest and Resume to: BOD@sistersempoweringsistas.org
