The RoleAs Nex Playground’s Lifecycle Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing our customer lifecycle from first touch through subscription renewal or reacquisition. You will work closely with the platform team, our CRM agency, and Marketing, to build unique programs that drive retention, engagement, and revenue. This role reports to the VP, Publishing.
You have a deep understanding of modern CRM strategies and tactics, don’t solely rely on email, and think big when proposing new strategies. You are a self starter, are comfortable rolling up your sleeves and can establish domain expertise for an entire discipline. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to share content directly with customers, curating a custom marketing experience that highlights our unique platform and games.
What You Will Bring to the TableAt least 5 years experience managing CRM and Lifecycle programs within an entertainment subscription product, video games, or other relevant industry. You have deep expertise leveraging marketing automation tools and analytics to optimize the performance of campaigns throughout the subscriber journey. You’ve also run Post Purchase Surveys, NPS, and product review comms to generate sentiment analysis and customer insights.
Must HaveHands on experience with corporate-level CRM tools (Klaviyo, Salesforce or similar), ideally overseeing their implementation and working across product and engineering teams to ensure proper integration.History of turning business goals into measurable KPIs that drive long-term growth, engagement, retention, and revenue.Must be detail oriented with excellent communication, documentation, and reporting & analysis skills.Should Have
Thorough understanding of testing frameworks and methodologies needed for designing end-to-end experiments.Prior experience designing and creating multi-step CRM journeys within complex data environments.Experience developing unique segmentation approaches that drive personalized programs and messaging.Nice to HaveHTML skills or alternative methods to design and build your own email templates and landing pages.An interest in video games, eCommerce, and startup life.
