A candidate would hold a Bachelor's degree (B. A./ B.S.) from four-year college or university with major course work in journalism, public relations, communications, marketing, advertising, political science, recreation and park administration or related field, Master’s degree preferred, with a minimum of seven (7) years related experience in production of written and audio-visual promotional materials, sales, fundraising, marketing, public relations, crisis communications and at least five (5) years in a supervisory capacity. Alternatively, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.To better understand your skills and accomplishments, we ask candidates who are invited for an interview to bring a portfolio of their work to the interview.
