Job Summary/Description:
KPLC-TV is seeking a highly motivated Weekend Sports Anchor/Reporter to cover sports in Southwest Louisiana. Responsibilities include anchoring weekend sportscasts, shooting, writing, and editing stories for various platforms, and producing sports segments for traditional and streaming television. 7Sports covers local teams including McNeese, UL-Lafayette, LSU, and the New Orleans Saints.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Must be a multimedia expert familiar with digital and broadcast journalism principles.
- A degree in Journalism or a related field is preferred.
- Must possess a valid MVR.
