Essential Functions:Generates increased traffic to the communitiesCoordinates department advertising needsOrganizes model home and trailer activitiesMaintains websiteCoordinates sales/marketing eventsPrepares advertisement layouts and marketing materialsDuties and ResponsibilitiesCreates and establishes strategic marketing plans to achieve company objectives for products and servicesPlans and oversees execution of promotional activities including print, electronic media, trade show, direct mail, point-of-purchase displays, and signageManages development, production, and distribution of promotional and collateral materials to support marketing programsAnalyzes marketing programs and adjusts strategy and tactics to increase effectiveness in generating trafficProvides web site management, tracking on line leads, and monitoring conversionManages model decorating processes and maintains furniture inventoryCreates and maintains master electronic file of current collateral and display imagesResponsible for timely coordination of new community preparations, including sales trailer (utilities, facility, landscape, displays, location, etc.), model(s), pre-sale information, and grand opening events, etc.Reviews and ensures accuracy of all marketing material prior to public releaseSets-up and maintains photo library of finished homes and models (interior & exterior, all plans)Assists General Sales Managers with selections of all Market/Model homes (target price - lot - plan - inclusions - colors)Maintains current signage for communities and continuously reviews existing signage while researching/obtaining new and better locationsAssists General Sales Manager with merchandising of Model Homes and sales office set-upAssists sales and marketing team with determination of targeted consumer groups, product types and pricing for communitiesProcesses department marketing supplies and promotional materialsProcesses department invoicesMay include other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:Knowledge and SkillsExcellent written and oral communication skillsExcellent inter-personal skills: possess the ability to work independently and as part of a teamMust be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demandsKnowledge of typical building construction processWillingness to travel (locally)Must be fully PC-literate including basic administration software (Power Point, MS Word, Excel, Access)Operation of digital cameraEducation and Work ExperienceCollege degree in marketing, sales, journalism or business and 3-5 years experience; or equivalent combination of education and/or work experiencePrior experience with new home construction organization (including sales, marketing, strategic planning, development, research, promotions and/or advertising
