About the Role
As Executive Publisher, you will drive the strategic vision for our trade book and small-group curriculum publishing, oversee a talented team across acquisitions, editorial, and production, while ensuring the delivery of biblically faithful, innovative content that strengthens discipleship around the world. You'll represent David C Cook as a trusted voice in Christian publishing, building strong relationships with authors, agents, ministry leaders, and industry partners.

You will:
- Oversee all aspects of trade publishing and small-group curriculum development
- Lead a high-performing team across acquisitions, editorial, and production.
- Identify and acquire impactful authors and transformational content
- Ensure theological integrity and editorial excellence across all resources
- Drive digital, print, audio, and hybrid innovation for broader ministry reach
- Build strategic partnerships with churches, ministries, and faith networks
- Represent David C Cook at conferences, industry events, and ministry gatherings
- Steward the publishing division's financial health while advancing mission outcomes

Qualifications
What We're Looking For
- A proven publishing executive with 10+ years of senior leadership experience
- Deep knowledge of Christian publishing, discipleship trends, and ministry needs
- A strategic thinker with operational rigor and creative vision
- A relationship-builder with strong connections to authors, agents, and ministry leaders
- A passionate disciple of Jesus with a heart for equipping the Church globally
- Bonus if you have experience in small-group curriculum innovation and digital content strategies!
