Job Description:
Position Summary:
This role is responsible to work with internal and external customers to design and develop creative graphic solutions using a variety of print media. Work with customers to establish design needs, establish project scope, and oversee all aspects of production, ensuring outstanding customer service while meeting multiple deadlines.
Here’s what you’ll do:
Design various marketing and advertising print materials such as catalogs, signage, brochures, etc. and oversee production/printing for internal and external programs and campaigns.
Work with customers and internal cross-functional departments to determine project scope and design needs such as design elements, target audience, media, production requirements, etc.
Responsible to set up and maintain format tables in Ad Promotions database to ensure the offer content aligns with the desired promotional information and appearance; troubleshoot and resolve issues as necessary.
May act as back-up in absence of Ad Supervisor to provide guidance to Ad Design team.
Ensure consistency of marketing message between retail banners for compliance of branding standards.
Troubleshoot printing issues/requirements and maintain print integrity for materials.
Oversee project execution by coordinating with internal business partners and/or external services (i.e.,Art services, printers, etc.) as needed; ensure timely resolution of any issues.
Maintain awareness of trends and developments in retail graphic design.
May provide training and guidance to Ad Designer(s) to maintain efficient production; assist as needed in addressing inquiries/requests related to design, production, printing, deadlines, etc.
Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
Here's what you’ll need:
Associate degree (Required) in Graphic Art, Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications or related area or equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Bachelor's degree preferred.
One year experience in graphic design or related area preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong multi-tasking, prioritization, and customer service skills.
Ability to collaborate with internal and external resources to develop graphic designs that meet customers goals within budget and established timelines.
Knowledge of printing processes, illustration, and industry design styles, standards and formats. Proficient with Microsoft Office (i.e., Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and graphic design software (i.e.,InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop).
Knowledge of data base application set up (i.e.,C3, File Maker, etc.) helpful.

The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate but may be high in distribution settings. Travel requirements vary by assignment.
