Our client is seeking an experienced Design Director to lead a creative team and shape the overall design vision for innovative products. This role involves collaborating across departments to ensure brand consistency, develop user-centered designs, and drive product strategies from concept to prototype.
Responsibilities:
- Define and execute design vision aligned with product goals.
- Lead and mentor the design team, fostering creativity and collaboration.
- Work cross-functionally to ensure design feasibility and brand alignment.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Manage design resources and budgets effectively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or related field.
- 8+ years of design experience, including 5+ years leading a team.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong understanding of design principles, UI/UX, and brand development.
- Ability to travel internationally.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree
- Project management expertise and experience in fast-paced industries.
- Background in automotive, aerospace, medical, or consumer products.
- Experience leading global teams.
