Programming, Partnerships & ActivationsDevelop, manage, and execute a wide array of innovative and brand-differentiating programming within the portfolio.Develop local and national partnerships that align with each hotel's brand positioningCreate a robust programming calendar with weekly, monthly, and annual activationsCreate a marketing campaign for each activation, including but not limited to social media, email marketing, website/digital campaigns, digital listings, and PR OutreachCoordinate with operations & reservations teams to build packages and source add-onsCreate, foster and maintain positive relationships with local business partners, sponsors, talent, vendors, brands tastemakers and cultural institutions for collaborative event opportunitiesManage large-scale events and work in tandem with operations team on these events - from planning phase to management of events on-site - including but not limited to New Year's Eve, Halloween, various F&B events throughout the year.Be the driving force behind all aspects of the in-house guest experience as it relates to, but not limited to, entertainment, activations, and guest programming.Develop impactful sponsorship marketing opportunities and activation executions that are aligned with the brand.Partner with central marketing teams to develop creative materials required for on-property activations.Attend and coordinate photographers for high-profile events on-site at supported hotelsPublic Relations & Social MediaOversee Public Relations and Social Media agencies as applicable for portfolioCoordinate Press Release, fact sheet and pitch approval and distributionField media inquiries and conduct on-site media tours and experiencesCreate press kits for visiting media and develop targeted media amenitiesBuild strategic partnerships (link building campaign)Communicate presence of in-house media to hotel teamsSupervise on-site video/photo shootsParticipate in weekly PR calls/meetingsSave all incoming clips and maintain clip booksWork with CVB to develop relevant PR leadsOversee all external and internal media and influencer partners and relationships.Work closely with each hotel and provide strategic PR and marketing guidance to the hotel teamWebsite Development & AdvertisingDevelop and advertise promotions on each hotel's websitesWork with HEI VP of Marketing to develop SEO and digital strategy.Responsible for ongoing maintenance and monitoring of hotel websites and third party websitesResponsible for managing hotel's Social Media pagesOversee all on-property visual assets, including budget, strategy, development, and arrangement of photo and video shoots.Manage creative process and provide strategic direction for all marketing related areas including but not limited to social media, branding, signage, websites, digital & print advertising, hotel signage & collateral, and email campaigns.Create and implement advertising calendarMaintain advertising insertion orders/P.O.sProvide art direction and responsible for all advertising and marketing campaignsCoordinate email blasts for each hotel to extend promotional reachAccommodate field advertising requestsCoordinate all outgoing ads (both web and print)Hotel ResponsibilitiesCoordinate ongoing marketing calls with key on-property staff not limited to: GM, Dir of Ops, Exec Chef, F&B Manager, Dir of Sales, etc.Communicate PR/marketing initiatives to key members of hotel staffProvide support to hotel team members as neededPerforms any other job related duties as assigned.Qualifications
Qualifications and SkillsBachelor's Degree in Marketing or relevant field is required.3+ years of past public relations/marketing experience.Essential prior experience in the field of hospitalityAbility to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the Hotel.Ability to travel to hotels as needed.Ability to multitask.Ability to leverage Brand and enterprise processes and systems to support compliance, identify trends and support execution of strategies.Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft office, Excel, PowerPoint, InDesign, PhotoshopStrong analytical skills, ability to identify relevant data and leverage to positively impact hotel revenues.Ability to effectively communicate and influence key leaders in the organization.Working conditionsThis position will be remote and be required to travel as needed based on hotel demands.Benefits
