Director of Events and Field Marketing
will play a crucial role in developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that enhance brand visibility, drive pipeline, and support revenue growth across key markets. This role requires a creative thinker with a strong blend of strategic vision, sales partnership, event management expertise, and leadership skills.Responsibilities:Strategic Planning:
Develop and implement integrated events and field marketing strategies aligned with overall marketing and business objectives.Event Management:
Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of all company events, including seminars, conferences, webinars, and client appreciation events. Ensure seamless execution from concept to post-event analysis.Field Marketing Programs:
Create and manage field marketing programs that support lead generation, customer acquisition, and sales enablement efforts. Collaborate closely with sales teams to align initiatives with regional sales goals.Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work closely with other departments such as sales, product marketing, and corporate communications to ensure alignment and integration of marketing initiatives.Budget Management:
Responsible for managing the events and field marketing budget effectively, ensuring resources are allocated wisely and achieving maximum ROI.Vendor and Partner Management:
Build and maintain relationships with event vendors, agencies, and strategic partners to enhance event execution and maximize sponsorship opportunities.Metrics and Analytics:
Establish KPIs and metrics to measure the effectiveness of events and field marketing programs. Analyze data to optimize strategies and demonstrate ROI to senior management.Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor a team of events and field marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture. Provide guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to team members.Requirements:Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in event management and field marketing roles. Previous experience in a leadership capacity is required, preferably within a similar industry or tech-driven environment.Strong leadership, people management, and decision-making skills. Ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve goals and exceed expectations.Strong business acumen with demonstrated success implementing multi-channel marketing programs and measuring ROIAbility to lead multiple initiatives and deliver under tight deadlinesHands-on familiarity with Salesforce, Marketo or comparable marketing automation toolsExperience building strong rapport and partnership with SDRs, GTM Ops, AEs and Sales LeadershipCompensationThe expected salary range for this role is $184,000 - $230,000. However, the starting base pay will depend on a number of factors including the candidate’s location, skills, experience, market demands, and internal pay parity.
