Remote Zoom Host (Freelance) with Digital Court Reporter certification
An established, international court reporting agency is seeking professional and dedicated Zoom Hosts to work remotely on a freelance basis. This role offers a flexible, part-time opportunity for additional income.
Note: We are specifically looking for Zoom Hosts with an AAERT-compliant digital court reporter certification and remote online notary (RON) certification.
As a Remote Zoom Host, your responsibilities include:
- Zoom hosting and technical support: Facilitate virtual or hybrid hearings and depositions by managing breakout rooms, screen shares, pinned recordings, etc.
- Scheduling and coordination: Organize, test, and train participants for remote hearings, managing schedules and working with legal professionals.
- Technical support and software management: Operate court reporting and legal software, exhibit management, scheduling, and production tools, requiring strong technical skills.
To qualify, you MUST:
- Have experience working with attorneys in the legal industry.
- Hold a DIGITAL COURT REPORTER and Remote Online Notary (RON) certification.
- Be flexible with your schedule to accommodate various timings.
- Have extensive experience with Zoom, including configuring virtual depositions or legal proceedings.
- Be tech-savvy, capable of quickly mastering new software and understanding IT principles.
- Be professional, organized, detail-oriented, and able to communicate promptly and effectively via email.
