The Engagement/Service Design Lead will join a team supporting the USDA Food and Nutrition Service innovation initiatives.
Position Responsibilities:Develop a customer journey vision and roadmap for UI/UX experienceDesign and organize communication strategies and interactive service structuresSupport events and engagementSupport development of concepts with the architectsResearch and collect information to sketch and prototype innovation ideasWork collaboratively with the UI/UX designer and architects to develop pilotsOpen and collaborative communication across the team to spark innovationRequirements
Experience coordinating with stakeholders and usersExperience planning both in-person, remote, and hybrid eventsExperience conducting events to support an Innovation program.Ability to resolve impediments and deliver minimal viable products on timeStrong time management and organizational skillsAbility to multi-taskStrong communication skills - writing and speakingKnowledge of web design and the U.S. Web Design StandardsFamiliarity with Section 508 and WCAGFamiliarity with human centered design, user experience, collecting user inputQualifications:
Bachelor's degree5 Years' experienceCCMP (Certified Change Management Professional) or equivalent preferredActive USDA clearance preferredMust be in the Washington, DC, Maryland, or Virginia area to support engagementsWhy Join Sierra7?
