Key Responsibilities Buying & Product Development Develop and execute strategic buying plans for a new retail brand , ensuring assortments align with market demand. Work closely with fashion designers to bring trend-driven, commercially viable collections to market. Ensure product selections reflect seasonal trends, competitive positioning, and consumer insights . Establish and manage relationships with global apparel suppliers , ensuring quality, pricing, and production efficiency. Negotiate pricing, lead times, and production terms to secure competitive costs while maintaining quality standards. Oversee sourcing strategy, ensuring alignment with sustainability initiatives and compliance regulations . Sourcing Consultation (For Our External Buyers & Sourcing Clients) Act as a consultant to external buyers (brands that rely on us for sourcing expertise), offering insights on supplier selection, product development, and sourcing strategies. Help clients optimize their cost structures, supplier relationships, and product quality . Market & Trend Research Stay ahead of fashion and consumer trends , ensuring product and sourcing strategies remain competitive. Conduct competitive analysis to identify gaps in the market and align product offerings accordingly. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work with marketing teams to provide insights on product positioning and brand storytelling.
