The Ram PR Manager's role aims to build awareness, protect the reputation, and create positive impressions for the assigned brand in North America. Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting and promoting the brand to secure positive media coverage
- Developing and executing media relations strategies
- Creating internal and external materials, including key messages, speeches, press kits, and news releases
- Managing media relations for executives and spokespeople including media training
- Planning and executing vehicle launches, auto shows, and other events
- Acting as a liaison between communications and other departments like product engineering, planning, and marketing as well as global teams
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of using creative methods to navigate the current media landscape with a non-traditional thought process.

Basic Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in communications, journalism or agency PR
- The candidate must be experienced in the preparation and execution of external and internal communication strategies, launch programs, auto shows, events and media materials
- Communication skills - proficiency in creating compelling brand narratives, product and brand press materials, speeches, and press releases
- Media relations - proficiency in managing and creating relationships with automotive and mainstream media. Develop and execute media relations strategies to secure positive coverage
- Creative thinking - use creative methods to navigate the media landscape and develop unique communication strategies. Integrate brand messaging across digital, social and traditional media platforms
- Technical knowledge - understand the automotive industry. Ability to translate technical product details into accessible information for the media and public
- Analytical skills - track media coverage and analyze its impact on the brand. Use data to inform and adjust communication strategies
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous automotive product experience a plus
- Journalism experience
