About The Role
Optimal is looking for an ambitious programmatic advertising strategist with at least one year of hands-on programmatic media management experience to join our team! The Programmatic Advertising Strategist will play an active role in dictating & executing programmatic strategy across various platforms including DV360, The Trade Desk, & Stackadapt. The ideal candidate should have a passion for programmatic media, a proven track record in campaign management, and familiarity with media buying platforms.

Essential Functions, Duties, And Responsibilities
- Programmatic Strategy – Collaborate with clients to plan budgets, test new channels, and analyze industry trends to build strategic recommendations.
- Campaign Management & Optimization – Manage and optimize campaigns to meet or exceed KPIs.
- Budget Allocation & Pacing – Oversee monthly budgets, track pacing, and adjust spend based on performance analysis.
- Reporting & Analysis – Conduct deep performance analyses using platforms like The Trade Desk, DV360, Stackadapt, Microsoft PBI, & Adobe Analytics; prepare reports and strategic recommendations.
- Collaboration – Work with leadership and internal teams to develop strategies and optimize campaigns.
- Creative Ideation – Guide creative testing to identify top-performing assets.
- Work with Industry Experts and Vendors – Enhance vendor relationships and leverage their capabilities.
- Innovation – Explore and test new programmatic opportunities to improve performance.
Minimum Qualifications & Skills
- 1+ year of hands-on, professional programmatic advertising experience.
- Experience managing high-volume campaigns across programmatic platforms.
- Strong data analysis skills in The Trade Desk, DV360, Stackadapt, Power BI, & Google Analytics.
- Experience with other DSPs and Campaign Manager 360 is a plus.
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- 4-year degree in business, marketing, advertising, statistics, or related field is a plus.
What We Offer
- $70,000 - $85,000 annually, depending on experience and location.

Office Hours
This role is based in Austin with a hybrid schedule (3 days in-office, 2 days remote). Hours are 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., Monday to Friday, with some evening/weekend work as needed.
