Overview
The Designer III position consists of fabricating detailed drawings for structures, piping, vessels, and sheet metal components.
Requirements
P&ID and Hydraulic Schematics using ISA and ISO standard symbology.3D modeling using Autodesk Inventor.Packaging 3rd party equipment based on engineering bill of materials, client requirements, and company standards.General Arrangement Drawings.Fabrication Detail drawings for structures, piping, vessels, and sheet metal components.Skills
Knowledge of drafting principles for fabrication and assembly; disciplines include, Structural, Piping, and Vessels.Familiarity with HPU, TUTA, Chemical Injection, Well Head Control Panels is a plus.Proficiency in AutoCAD and Inventor; specifically, the use of constraints, Frame Generator, and Tube&Pipe & Knowledge of Dynamic Block Creation, Inventor IParts and ILogic is a plus.Ability to work with a flexible mindset to handle multiple product lines and multiple projects simultaneously.Ability to create and modify drawings from engineer-provided markups with high level attention to detail.Strong professional verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work effectively independently or as part of a team.Ability to perform tasks in a fast-paced environment.Highly organized and efficient.Ability to understand and implement a wide range of CAD standards.Proficient with Windows 7 or newer.Proficient with MS office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, etc.)Familiarity with HPU, TUTA, Chemical Injection, Well Head Control Panels is a plus.Education/Experience
HS Diploma a minimum, associate's degree or CAD certification preferred.8+ years of experience of designing for skid mounted equipment within a manufacturing setting.Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk.Continuously requires vision, hearing, twisting, and talking.Some lifting (up to 30 lbs.). Long hours on computer keyboard.Offered Benefits
