Overview
Guide the team in establishing and steering the long-term vision and direction of the game IP for both the studio and franchise.
Take ownership of the vision for product, process, practices, people, and tools across the entire franchise.
Execute and drive the implementation of the business plan for both the studio and franchise IP.
Develop the execution plan in alignment with the established vision.
Prioritize and sequence tasks into near-, medium-, and long-term goals to ensure successful execution of the business plan.
Refine the resource plan, team, and organizational structure to effectively execute the plan.
Collaborate with department leaders to establish and uphold the product vision, scope, staffing plan, schedule, and budget.
Lead the development, management, and direction of live game service and operations, as well as content production, systems, and features for the live game.
Explore and lead the development of an investment plan for new game opportunities within the studio's core IP.
Manage studio and development teams, overseeing staffing across all key disciplines (production, design, engineering, art, live service, product management, project management, and operations).
Drive the financial performance of the studio, including existing live titles and new investments.
Regularly report game and business performance to stakeholders and the publisher.
Cultivate relationships with partner teams and shared services to provide support for the game.
Act as a passionate ambassador for the game IP.
Qualifications:Over a decade of experience in production, development, and product management for live game-as-a-service products.
Held leadership roles for more than three years within the broader 10+ years of gaming experience.
Demonstrated success in shipping multiple titles, particularly in cross-platform and large-scale live operations.
Profound knowledge and hands-on experience in designing and operating Free-to-Play Game-as-a-Service (F2P GaaS) economies.
Proficiency in data analytics and a commitment to data-driven decision-making, including familiarity with A/B testing frameworks.
Ability to leverage data for estimating expected outcomes, assessing potential Return on Investment (ROI), and prioritizing tasks.
Expertise in market analysis and awareness, as well as consumer and player management analysis.
Extensive experience in process-driven software development life cycle (SDLC) with a proven track record of high-quality development and execution against plans.
A passion for hands-on involvement in day-to-day decision-making, coupled with a keen focus on the overarching vision.
