Marketing Intern
Reports To: Senior Marketing Campaign Manager
Location: Chicago, IL
Environment: Onsite
Status: Non-Exempt, Hourly

Purpose of Your Work:
As a Marketing Intern working within Go-To-Market (GTM) team, you’ll get hands-on experience planning and executing marketing initiatives across events, demand generation campaigns, social media, all while collaborating cross functionally across marketing, sales, commercial, and more.
How You Make a Difference Everyday:
Event Support
- Assist with the planning and logistics of both virtual and in-person events (e.g., tradeshows, webinars, conferences).
- Coordinate timelines, outreach, and follow-up under the guidance of the Events Manager.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop engaging activities and marketing materials.
Campaign Execution
- Support multi-channel marketing campaigns by helping with email marketing, landing page creation, and audience segmentation.
- Track and analyze campaign performance metrics, making data-driven recommendations for optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Content, Design, GTM, etc) to ensure campaign consistency and cohesion.
SEO & Social Media Management
- Help plan and create content for SEO on the Redwood website and social media platforms (LinkedIn, X, Instagram, etc.).
- Schedule and publish blog/social posts, monitor engagement, and identify opportunities to amplify brand awareness.
- Stay informed on trending topics and relevant industry news to keep our content fresh and timely.
Office & Team Collaboration
- Participate in team meetings, brainstorm sessions, and other collaborative initiatives.
- Provide general support to the Marketing department as needed onsite with swag, customer visits, onsite events, and more.
You’ve Got This?
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative thinker who’s eager to learn, collaborate, and contribute new ideas.
- Basic understanding of social media platforms, marketing principles, and event coordination.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Familiarity with HubSpot or Salesforce is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Work Schedule:
This position is full-time and onsite Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with an hour break, but flexibility is available based on coverage.
Compensation Range:
$20 per hour
The estimated pay range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the geographical location in which the applicant lives and/or which they will be performing the job.
