About the Role
We're seeking an innovative Search Manager to lead our organic search and AI discovery strategies. This role sits at the intersection of traditional SEO and emerging AI search technologies, helping Rho.co maximize visibility across both conventional search engines and new AI platforms.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies across programmatic, technical, and editorial domains.
- Create and execute strategies to improve ranking and visibility on AI platforms, including Perplexity, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Llama.
- Analyze search patterns across traditional and AI search engines to identify trends and opportunities.
- Oversee affiliate marketing programs related to search discovery
- Collaborate with content and product teams to ensure all assets are optimized for both traditional and AI search discovery
- Manage and optimize our Profound instance for AI-powered search functionality.
- Monitor performance metrics and provide regular reporting on search visibility and traffic acquisition
- Stay current with emerging trends in AI search behavior and algorithm changes
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in SEO, search engine marketing, or other technical marketing disciplines.
- Knowledge of AI search platforms and how they differ from traditional search engines.
- Experience with search analytics tools and SEO software
- Familiarity with affiliate marketing program management
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate across teams
- Experience with programmatic SEO implementation.
- Understanding of semantic search and natural language processing concepts.
- Experience with content strategy specifically for AI discovery.
