Graphic Design and Layout: Create visually appealing designs for print collateral, marketing materials, social media graphics, and other brand assets. Apply principles of layout, typography, and color theory to deliver designs that engage and inspire target audiences. Digital Design: Collaborate with multimedia designer to create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for websites, mobile apps, and other digital interfaces. Support the design and optimization of user experiences across various digital platforms. Design Support: Assist in the development and execution of creative concepts for print, digital, and experiential projects. Contribute ideas and solutions that align with client objectives and brand guidelines. Production and File Preparation: Prepare design files for production, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to technical specifications. Collaborate with printers, vendors, and production partners to oversee the printing and manufacturing process. Project Coordination and Communication: Assist in project coordination and communication, including scheduling meetings, organizing files, and managing project timelines. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of creative projects. Quality Assurance and Revision: Assist in the review and revision of design deliverables to ensure accuracy, quality, and consistency. Incorporate feedback from clients and team members to refine designs and improve overall project outcomes. Creative Research, Inspiration, and Professional Development: Stay abreast of design trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in graphic design and digital media. Seek out learning opportunities and skill development activities to enhance your design skills and expand your knowledge of design principles, software tools, and industry trends. Actively participate in team meetings, workshops, and training sessions to grow as a designer. Other duties as assigned. Additional Details

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in graphic design, multimedia design, digital media, visual communication or related field. An equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design software. Familiarity with prototyping tools (e.g., XD) and motion graphics software (e.g., After Effects) is a plus. Basic understanding of web design principles and experience with HTML/CSS is a plus Strong design skills and a keen eye for aesthetics. Ability to translate creative concepts into visually compelling designs that resonate with target audiences. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and communicate ideas and concepts clearly. Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and craftsmanship. Ability to work efficiently in a deadline-driven environment while maintaining attention to detail. Enthusiasm for learning and growth. Eagerness to take on new challenges, expand your skill set, and contribute.

Job Summary
As a Junior Multimedia Designer, you'll be involved in creating multimedia content for both digital platforms and printed materials, supporting various marketing and educational initiatives of University Advancement. You'll also have the opportunity to collaborate with web developers on website designs, gaining valuable experience in both print and digital media. Working closely with our team Marketing and Donor Relations team and Multimedia Designer, you will support the conceptualization, design, and production of visual assets across various mediums, helping to bring University Advancement's visions to life.
