Maintain a comprehensive design system with consistent components and styles within Figma and coordinate updates with the frontend development team.Imagine elegant and thoughtful ways to present data.Implement best practices for intuitive user interactions.Collaborate with Product and Development Team to produce the best possible end product.Wireframe and present mock-ups of potential UI solutions.Strategize and implement the evolution to the existing design system as needs and products grow and change.Use Figma to present interactive mockups to stakeholders.Craft narratives on Jira to provide detailed specifications and interaction patterns.Maintain discussions of proposed features as Jira stories.Maintain Internal Chat conversations during working hours.Provide work effort estimates to management to assist in setting priorities.Deliver timely work in accordance with estimates.Solve problems as they arise and communicate potential roadblocks to manage expectations.Adhere strictly to all security policies.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.3+ years in professional application design role.An understanding of HTML and CSS capabilities as it relates to design.Expert in Figma for wireframing, high-fidelity design, and prototyping, including component authoring and auto-layout.Experience diagramming with tools like Miro, Figjam, Whimsical, or similar.Able to diagram a problem while collaboratively discussing architecture, user flow, and interaction design.An appreciation for determining the right interface component for the right task, including proper use of modals, menus, forms, etc., to allow for intuitive user interactions.Ability to cooperatively arrive at a design solution taking into account a variety of opinions that represent business requirements, user needs, and development capabilities.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Mental and Physical Demands
This position will be exposed mainly to an indoor office environment and will be expected to work in or around computers and printers.The nature of the work is sedentary, and the employee will be sitting most of the time.Essential physical functions of the job include typing and the repetitive motion to utilize computer software and hardware continuously throughout the day.Essential mental functions of this position include concentrating on analytical tasks, reading information, and verbal/written communication to others continuously throughout the day.Related Duties as Assigned
