Job Summary:
SageSpring is seeking a talented and experienced Corporate Event Planner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and executing a variety of corporate events, including conferences, meetings, trade shows, and team-building activities. The Corporate Event Planner will work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure that all events are successful and meet the company's objectives.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage event budgets
- Coordinate with internal teams to determine event objectives and requirements
- Research and negotiate with vendors for event services and products
- Create event timelines and schedules
- Coordinate event logistics, including venue selection, catering, transportation, and audiovisual equipment
- Manage event registration and attendee communication
- Oversee on-site event setup, execution, and breakdown
- Evaluate event success and provide post-event reports
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Corporate Event Planner or similar role
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Proficiency in event planning software and Microsoft Office Suite
Physical Demands:
- Ability to work in a traditional professional office setting or remote equivalent
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Ability to efficiently operate all job-related office equipment, software systems and databases
- Work schedule may vary and is determined by project schedules
- Ability to communicate via telephone, computer and work in virtual teams
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time
- Ability to travel using personal vehicle to other office locations as needed
- The responsibilities may require occasional overnight travel
