Design Development: Create compelling layouts and graphics for sales, marketing and internal enablement materials, including capabilities and sales decks, concept mockups for new business pitches, thought leadership content (white papers, research reports, one-pagers, infographics, etc.), ads, social media graphics, training materials and more.Brand Consistency: Ensure all designs align with Walker Sands brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual identity across all platforms.Communication + Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, content and services leadership teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality work — while collecting, interpreting and acting on feedback from cross-functional stakeholders and your creative director along the way.Conceptualization: Generate creative concepts and ideas for various marketing campaigns and projects.Quality Control: Review and proofread designs to ensure accuracy and high standards of quality — for every round of review and revision.Time + Project Management: Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to deadlines. This role will support new business pitches, which often move quickly and involve many stakeholders.Requirements
Experience: 3–5 years of experience in graphic design and working within brand guidelines requirements in either an in-house or agency environment.Technical Skills: Proficiency in Google Slides, Microsoft PowerPoint, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design software. Experience with animation and/or video editing software is a plus.Portfolio: Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design work, that demonstrates mastery of:Brand expression: Ability to translate and apply direction from a documented visual identity (brand guidelines) across diverse content types and media platforms.Information design: Ability to turn complex content into clear, compelling devices for visual communication, critically considering how type hierarchy, white space, copy lengths, contrast and color application can enable and accelerate audience comprehension.Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively present and explain design concepts to team members and non-creative stakeholders.Creativity: Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to generate innovative design solutions that meet project objectives.Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics and visual balance.Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with UX/UI design and/or HTML/CSS and web design principles.Experience working on an in-house marketing team in an agency environment.Experience designing sales enablement content.Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Benefits
