As we aim to expand our customer base and drive business growth, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager of Sales and Marketing to lead our efforts in customer acquisition, communication, market analysis, and product development.
Position Overview:
As the Senior Manager of Sales and Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth strategies of Mercury Tools. You will be responsible for identifying and engaging new customers, nurturing existing relationships, and capitalizing on market opportunities to ensure the company's expansion. Your expertise in sales, marketing, and product development will be essential in creating and executing effective strategies that align with our business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and target potential customers within the home improvement centers, hardware stores, and construction/industrial retail distributors.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
Recruit and manage outside sales representatives to acquire customers and increase customer engagement.
Lead market research efforts to identify trends, opportunities, and gaps in the power tool accessories market.
Develop and execute strategic marketing plans to increase sales and drive customer engagement.
Analyze sales data and market feedback to recommend and implement new product opportunities that address customer needs.
Stay up-to-date with industry developments and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
Monitor and report on key performance metrics related to sales, customer satisfaction, and market share.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Proven track record of at least 5 years in sales and marketing leadership roles, preferably within the home improvement, hardware industry, or the I/C.
Strong understanding of the power tools and accessories market, including customer preferences and industry trends.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to build lasting relationships with customers and partners.
Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Creative thinker with a demonstrated ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
Leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate a team, both internal and external.
Benefits:
Salary range: $90K - $130K.
