When you join our team, you’ll work across our dynamic portfolio including Peacock, NOW, Fandango, SkyShowtime, Showmax, and TV Everywhere, powering streaming across more than 70 countries globally.The Video Software Engineering team is looking for Engineering Managers to grow and develop our engineering talent and build inclusive, high-performing teams.Role ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with all Playback Services teams (Live/Linear, VOD, Video Player etc.) for Video KPIs on Peacock application.Manage relationships between multiple internal teams.Own and create a data lake for end-to-end video delivery.Work closely with Engineering/Product/Project Management and Backend Technology Services teams to build highly scalable/reliable video infrastructure.Develop software solutions based on operations; collaborate and confer with colleagues, studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes.Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.Drive technical initiatives in partnership with senior engineers across teams.Grow the team by attracting diverse talent that can push technical boundaries.Support, coach and develop high performing engineers through regular 1:1s and continuous feedback.Proactively suggest changes to enhance efficiency as the team evolves.Minimum RequirementsBachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.Ability to integrate into a large agile development project and manage rapid development cycles.Desired Qualifications2+ years of Engineering Management experience, prior software development experience at senior level.Understanding of how a high performing team of engineers looks like.Analytic problem solver with a strong sense of autonomy.Interest in promoting an inclusive team culture where engineers of diverse backgrounds can grow.Committed to quality in every assignment, large or small.Past use of Agile/Scrum/Kanban or similar collaborative tools.This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.Salary range:
