Freelance Web Content Manager who is highly skilled in Adobe Experience Manager to help build web experiences.
This freelance opportunity spans a six-month contract and offers a hybrid work arrangement, with three days onsite and two days remote, at our client’s Los Angeles, CA office.About our client:

Renowned for its distinctive corporate culture, the organization places a strong emphasis on collaboration and a forward-looking perspective.About You:You have demonstrated experience in Adobe Experience Manager, with a strong track record of using existing templates, building new web pages, and updating content.You thrive in cross-functional environments, working closely with IT partners, UX teams, and other stakeholders to enhance authoring tools, develop new components, and solve complex challenges.Your ability to plan, lead, and manage diverse teams ensures that projects are executed efficiently and to the highest standards.Your meticulous attention to detail guarantees that all web content adheres to SEO best practices, metadata, and tagging, with a commitment to continuous improvement that ensures every project not only meets but exceeds expectations.Responsibilities:Leverage all available resources and creative assets to craft engaging web experiences, primarily using AEM. Apply your design, writing, and user experience expertise to develop page elements, complete web pages, and comprehensive digital experiences.Collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams to enhance the authoring experience, contribute to the development of new components and templates, and identify the best strategies for delivering content when existing tools fall short.Manage and oversee web configuration tools (e.g., AEM, Target, Audience Manager) to deliver personalized, targeted audience experiences and conduct A/B testing.Ensure smooth coordination of content releases and publishing efforts across various sites, audiences, and campaigns.Provide support and guidance to distributed web authors, ensuring that web content adheres to best practices and industry standards, including SEO optimization, metadata implementation, brand consistency, and effective tagging.Partner with technology teams to maintain and enhance web applications using Adobe Experience Manager CMS, including site architecture management, custom component creation, and workflow development.Enforce platform standards and processes in collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with key metrics such as page load speed, metadata accuracy, URL best practices, and redirects.Support continuous improvement and optimization of channel processes, driving efficiency and effectiveness across teams.Assist team members and contribute to collaborative projects as needed, ensuring that all work assignments are completed effectively and on time.Conduct thorough quality checks to verify the accuracy and completeness of web content, ensuring it meets all specified requirements.Requirements:Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with AEM, including building and updating web pages, creating content fragments, and utilizing templates.Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS, with familiarity in XML being a plus. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and other digital marketing tools (e.g., Adobe Target, Audience Manager) is highly desirable.Proven ability to work closely with IT, UX, and other stakeholders to enhance web authoring tools, develop new components, and implement solutions to complex challenges.Meticulous in ensuring that all web content meets the highest standards, including SEO best practices, accurate metadata, and proper tagging. Experience in maintaining digital accessibility standards (ADA/AODA) is important.Proven ability to plan, lead, and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring efficient execution and adherence to standards across diverse teams.Strong analytical skills and sound judgment in resolving complex issues.
