You will be responsible for developing and maintaining a Configuration Management system to manage software and documentation baselines in support of the customer's mission. The ideal candidate will also have knowledge and experience preparing, editing, and producing a variety of technical and non-technical documents in accordance with documented standards.Responsibilities:Configuration Management (CM) process and procedures required to identify, document, and control the functional and physical characteristics of a configuration itemDepartment of Defense Instruction 5000.02, lifecycle configuration control, document, hardware and software configuration management, CM tracking tools that document, control, implement, track, and audit changes to the system using Military Handbook 61B and American National Standards Institute/Electronic Industries Alliance 649-C as guidesApplication of CM methodologies and familiarity with Local Configuration Control Board (LCCB) and Configuration Control Board (CCB) processesData Management development, enhancement and maintenance of multiple datasetsEvaluation of datasets for consistency, completeness, accuracy and reasonablenessOperate in a database environment, run report and format reports, management of Microsoft SharePoint or other data repositoriesRequirements:United States Citizenship3-5 years' experience and working knowledge of Configuration Management (CM) processes and Configuration Control Board (CCB) support, including performing requirements traceability, knowledge of Agile framework, and experience with operation and management of databasesManagement and tracking of classified and unclassified mediaExperience in the documentation, change report handling, and accountability via Configuration Management (CM) tools such as Atlassian Jira and Atlassian ConfluenceAt least 2 years' experience in technical editing and formatting documentsVery detail orientedStrong multi-tasking and organizational skillsStrong writing skillsStrong communication skillsAbility to work under strict deadlinesAmbitious, proactive personalityProficient in MS Word and PowerPointPreferred Skills & Experience:Experience and familiarity with command operations at Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD)Experience in editing and formatting DoD documentationExperience in MS SharePoint
