In this role you’ll be primarily responsible for all content across our oldest and most established business unit, Borrow —as well as key cross-business unit efforts such as onboarding. Borrow’s mission involves creating seamless, informative and intuitive experiences across a large suite of loan products used by people in their journey of “getting their money right”. Our expanding loan products suite helps people across various stages of their lives and financial needs, across two key milestones: applying and managing their payments.

Responsibilities
- Drive content creation across a number of concurrent work streams within one or more product areas including new features, improvements and optimizations.
- Establish and maintain content style guides and repeatable content frameworks.
- Collaborate closely with Designers, Researchers, Marketing Creatives and Brand Strategists to iterate and drive clear solutions that bring SoFi’s voice to live in product.
- Develop effective solutions based on research, member insights, and industry best-practices (across finance and tech)
- Present content solutions and clearly communicate design intent through documentation and presentations
- Collaborate with other content designers working on other product areas to drive alignment and consistency across the entire user experience
- Share work early and often for wide visibility and alignment
Qualifications and Experience
- 8+ yrs experience of experience working in product design/UX roles
- Strong point of view on voice, tone, formatting, etc.
- Ability to leverage and work with a wide range of tools (ie Figma, Witer.AI, CMS’s, Github, etc)
- Expertise in content design best practices across software products
- Strong collaboration skills across cross-functional teams including product management, engineering and marketing
- Ability to translate user research, user needs and product data to make informed design solutions
- Track record for delivering end to end solutions with cohesive language and patterns, from initial concepts to launch
- Experience presenting work and rationale to senior leadership and advocating for user needs in the context of business goals
- Experience working in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, agile environment using tools like Jira and Confluence
- A portfolio URL or PDF to submit with application with examples of content designer
- Experience working on financial products
- Experience working on content guidelines and frameworks
- Experience working on multi-phased, long-term initiatives
Compensation and Benefits
The base pay range for this role is listed below. Final base pay offer will be determined based on individual factors such as the candidate’s experience, skills, and location.

Pay range: $144,000.00 - $247,500.00
Payment frequency: Annual
